Traci Simmons

MFT-Associate

Serving the New La Grange Location

Navigating life with all of its twists and turns can be very overwhelming. I believe we can find our way by connecting our emotions, thoughts and feelings to our reality.  I am passionate about slowing down our thoughts, engaging our emotions and finding connection points along the way.

I've had the pleasure of joining with individuals, families and couples to address anxiety, depression, race based trauma , LGBTQIA+ discrimination, sexual assault, domestic violence survivors and other complex trauma.

I am straightforward and honest which means allowing space for difficult conversation to arise and to be heard with some hard truth.  I engage in various modalities such as CBT, Motivational Interviewing, Narrative, Emotions Focused and Strength Based Therapy.

I am a recent graduate from Louisville Presbyterian Theological Seminary with two Master degrees in Divinity and Marriage and Family Therapy.  I am currently under supervision and will be working toward licensure in MFT.

A Bit About Me:  I am a music enthusiast, painter and avid traveler.  Self Care is non-negotiable for me.  It is important that I create space and time for me to recenter myself, refocus my energy and realign my spirit.  In my free time, I love to engulf myself in the arts, singing, spending time with my loved ones and creating a fun, welcoming environment for others to relax.
