Hi, I’m Lauren! I'm a student at Liberty University currently pursuing my Masters In Clinical Mental Health Counseling. After graduation, I intend to pursue my licensure as an LPCC, a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor. 

My passion for counseling began when I was serving as a camp counselor in the mountains of Northern California. Shortly after earning my undergraduate degree in Psychology from Centre College, I began pursuing my Masters. While I've been exposed to many therapeutic techniques, I primarily draw on techniques from Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy, Solution-Focused Brief therapy, and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. My primary interests lie in mood disorders and career counseling, but I’d love the opportunity to help with any issues you’re facing. When it comes down to it, I believe there is nothing more valuable than connecting with people!

My goal is to create an environment that is authentic and comfortable for all clients. I strive to build strong relationships with each and every one of my clients that is objective and unbiased to help you make the most progress in your therapeutic journey.

A Bit about me: In my free time, you will find me in nature, whether it be on the beach or in the mountains. I am passionate about fitness and find that it’s a great outlet for self care. When I’m not outside, you can find me spending time with family or cozied up on my couch reading a book.
