LINDSAY BROTZGE
LCSW serving both the New La Grange & Hurstbourne Village Locations
Through compassion, humor, and gentle challenge, I create an unconditionally supportive environment to help children, adolescents, families, and young adults overcome temporary setbacks, heal old wounds, and change dysfunctional patterns. In my work, I have developed a client-centered, strengths-based and trauma-informed practice modality. My areas of expertise include anxiety, depression, trauma, adverse life events, ADHD, self-esteem, and disruptive behaviors.

Drawing on trauma-focused CBT, motivational interviewing, expressive arts, mindfulness, psychodynamic and attachment theory; my approach is warm, relational and collaborative. Breaking a cycle, stepping out of our comfort zone, or addressing deep-rooted pain is scary. I want the therapeutic space to be comforting and safe for everyone.

A bit about me: Being outside brings me peace, whether that be gardening or going to new parks in the city. I spend the majority of my free time with my family, my pets (two crazy dogs and two bratty cats) or reading whatever I can get my hands on. I’m always learning and looking for new things to discover!
